Description:
HEEALS is a registered NGO in India. HEEALS is an acronym denoting our commitment to committing human and technical resources to achieve Health Education Environment and Livelihood Society for all.
We are a research and advocacy based organisation, we do research on water, sanitation in schools, orphan homes, refugee camps and in rural and urban slums. We create awareness regarding Toilet use, safe drinking water, sanitation.
We have been working in the WASH Sector for the last 3 years. We are a member of WSSCC and MH partner of Wash United. We work in water sanitation, menstrual hygiene and girl education in 5 states of India.

Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
We have been working in the WASH Sector for the last 3 years. We are a member of WSSCC and MH partner of Wash United. We work in water sanitation, menstrual hygiene and girl education in 5 states of India.

We are an advocacy group for adopting good sanitation practices. We create awareness regarding use of Toilet. We are working to stop open defecation which is big stigma to our society. To change the behavior of people we use creative and innovative tools to use toilets and adopt hygiene sanitation practices. We do sanitation dramas, hand wash rhymes, IEC & ICT tools in spreading sanitation awareness.

Expectations in the Partnership:
To be included in their sanitation forum. Include HEEALS as partner organisation and water & sanitation program.

Contribution to SuSanA:
We can put SuSaA logo in our website and give our research reports to them. We have made a Documentary Film : "The Role Of Sanitation In Girl Child Education" which is very much appreciated by Bollywood actress and on national and international social media platform .
