Description:
AFRIpads Ltd. is a Ugandan social business that manufactures low-cost, washable sanitary pads to improve the menstrual hygiene of women and girls in Africa.

Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
AFRIpads produces the AFRIpads Menstrual Kit, a sustainable solution to menstrual hygiene challenges in the developing world. We have partnered with hundreds of NGOs and private sector entities to support menstrual hygiene and sanitation.

Expectations in the Partnership:
AFRIpads can share expertise and our personal network as well as gain from the partners.

Contribution to SuSanA:
AFRIpads are experts at menstrual hygiene management, an important but often neglected area of sanitation. AFRIpads also offers a private sector perspective on WASH in Uganda and Africa.
