Description and Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
Agency for Research and Development Initiative (ARDI) is a national non-governmental, non-profit making organisation registered in Juba under the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs Republic of South Sudan under the NGO act 2003 with registration number 1395 and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs with registration Number 229. It’s established with the focus to facilitate community development especially sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene approaches, agricultural practices, and education focusing on girl child and promotion of child friendly schools and Health looks at maternal child health and HIV/AIDS.
ARDI has designed to carry out the tailored programs that will transform and improve the lives of the people living in selected areas of operation to realise their full potential and capacity thus enhancing full community participation to national development. As a national NGO, ARDI is committed and dedicate to address the above issues through partnership with the government at all levels, the community and International NGO’s operating in South Sudan.
ARDI stands up for united community and create a sense of positive thinking towards community and national development as our motto states “Creating positive living” for the people of South Sudan.
