Description:
AHT GROUP AG is a privately owned independent consulting firm which was founded in 1960. We offer management and engineering services in our core fields of activity i.e. water supply, wastewater management and sanitation, water resources management, agriculture, governance and environmental and solid waste management.
The scope of our services covers management and organisational aspects, institutional development and training, and the entire project cycle from preliminary and feasibility studies to detailed design, project implementation and evaluation.
Our clients include national and local government institutions, private sector companies and all the major international development organisations.
The work is carried out with a high level of technical competence and with the aim of identifying and implementing solutions which are optimally tailored to our clients’ requirements.

Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:
Through the implementation of wastewater management and sanitation projects (for example in Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Egypt, Jordan, the Cape Verde islands, Monte Negro, the Philippines, Tunisia and Zambia) the AHT GROUP AG is involved in a wide range of different approaches to sanitation and wastewater management, from large centralised systems, including the reuse of treated wastewater in irrigation to individual on-site sanitation at household level.

Expectations in the Partnership:
To be kept up to date with the latest discussions, tendencies and ideas in the field of sustainable sanitation and to see how consultancies can be increasingly brought into the processes of providing sustainable sanitation at semi-centralised and on-site level.

Contribution to SuSanA:
We will be able to share our experience and knowledge by providing project data sheets according to their suitability and by participating in discussions, offerring a consultant office perspective.
