Introducing Reaching Hand from India: A new partner organisation of SuSanA

We would like to welcome Reaching Hand from India as a new SuSanA partner organisation!

The following text is taken from their application form and was written by the partner organisation themselves.

Description and Activities in Sustainable Sanitation:

Reaching Hand aims to empower vulnerable children, marginalized women & underprivileged families to lead a life of hope, self-worth and dignity. By providing communities with improved public health measures, quality education and skill development opportunities, Reaching Hand acts as a catalyst for social change and envisions a promising future for all. One of Reaching Hand's core projects, Girls Glory, aims to prevent girls from dropping out of Indian government schools due to WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) and MHM (menstrual hygiene management) inaccessibility by providing necessary infrastructure and promoting behavioral change.
