Re: 32nd virtual SuSanA Meeting - 22nd of August 2022 - Registration is now open!
Hi Elisabeth,
Thank you for raising up the questions. Yes the recordings and presentations are available, which can be accessed via the event page or in the library page . You can also watch the videos for each part of the meeting directly on YouTube by clicking on the titles of "PART 1" & "PART 2".
Due to unknown technical cause, the previous recording of PART 2 was not accessible and has been replaced by a new one, so the first link to it does not work anymore. But everything on the webpage now is up-to-date and working.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the replacement of the video, and I hope now you find everything fine and enjoy the 32nd SuSanA virtual meeting.
Best regards,
Yuxiao

Re: 32nd virtual SuSanA Meeting - 22nd of August 2022 - Registration is now open!
Hi,
I am just wondering if the recordings and slides from the SuSanA Meeting are available yet? I checked here: www.susana.org/en/news-and-events/sanita...-22nd-of-august-2022
but the green hyperlinks there took me to youtube sessions which I think are not the recordings but were links to the live stream which now don't work anymore (?).
Also the uploaded video called "32nd SuSanA Meeting Part 2" doesn't seem to be right (it's only 6 seconds long). See here: www.youtube.com/user/susanavideos/playlists
Regards,
Elisabeth

A new platform to learn and share knowledge around the topic of Sanitation Workers!!
Sanitation workers are involved in several steps of the faecal waste management chain, including emptying of pits and septic tanks; cleaning toilets, sewers, and manholes; and operating pumping stations and treatment plants. They provide a fundamental public service, yet often face extreme health hazards and safety risks on the job, as well as social discrimination and stigma.
The Initiative for Sanitation Workers projects undertaken by different partners (WaterAid, ILO, WHO, SNV, and the World Bank with support from the BMGF) collaborated with SuSanA to developp the Sanitation Workers Knowledge and Learning Hub aiming at disseminating and exchanging resources and information related to sanitation workers. It comprises a library of publications, research, reports and other resources, forum posts, events, a photo library as well as opinion columns on sanitation workers.
Do not miss the speed launch of the Sanitation Workers Knowledge and Learning Hub during the 32nd SuSanA Meeting

Re: 32nd virtual SuSanA Meeting - 22nd of August 2022
Dear SuSanA community,
I am excited to share with you the teaser for one of our inputs during the upcoming 32nd SuSanA Meeting:
Papersto Practice
Papers to Practice is a podcast seriess by Laura Kohler & Dorothee Spuhler where we take important sanitation-related publications and break them down in 45 minutes, making them more accessible to busy professionals working to deliver inclusive, safely managed sanitation services globally. We sit with authors and ask them who should know about the paper and what are the key points to be able to put these papers to practice. This series is co-hosted by CAWST & EAWAG to improve knowledge translation in the sanitation sector. Listen here: anchor.fm/paperstopractice .
Based on the uptake of the 3 episodes launched in 2021, we have decided to have a go at it again in 2022! We have expanded the season to 6 episodes, building off what we heard and learned last year. The theme of this year’s season is sanitation and climate. We started with Guy looking at how to understand sanitation resilience to climate hazards. While we learnt in the last episode with Fiona that greenhouse gas from both, poorly performing onsite and offsite sanitation are heavily underestimated, we will look at potential emission mitigations from dry sanitation in the next episode together with Sasha and Rebecca .
The episode will be recorded live during the SuSanA meeting on Monday 22 of August, tune in to ask your question or post it here! Find the full papers here:
Registration is also open here: Registration 32nd SuSanA Meeting
See you next week!
