Re: New SFD Graphic Converter Tool now available
Dear all,
I am happy to announce that the new SFD Graphic Converter Tool is now available online (draft version)! By pressing one button in the calculation sheet, the tool generates the diagram - no more need to drag-and-drop around arrows with PowerPoint! Three files will be generated: .json, .png and .pdf. If the generated diagram needs further editing, you can still do so with the also generated PowerPoint file.
The tool can be downloaded through the SFD Toolbox . As it is a draft version, we are happy to receive feedback either here on the forum or by mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you are looking for support, the SFD Helpdesk is happy to help: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
NOTE: Please keep the files included in the Converter Tool (.pptx and .xlsm) in one folder (for technical reasons).
Best regards,
Lasse

Hi Daniel,
Unfortunately the SFD side events during the World Water Week will not be broadcasted, but there will be a short presentation about the project during the 20th SuSanA meeting on Saturday, 22.08. For all those who cannot come to Stockholm, a live stream of the 20th SuSanA meeting will be available:
www2.su.se/media/videoplayer/videoplayer.../live/SEI&type=live
A session on Cities and Planning is planned to start at 14:00, covering the following topics:
The full agenda of the meeting can be download here: www.susana.org/en/events/susana-meetings...na-meeting-stockholm
Additionally, SFDs will also be presented at some WG meetings during the week. It will be a good opportunity to discuss the potential of SFDs with the SuSanA community. We will be glad to report back the outcomes of these conversation.
All the best,
Cecilia.

Dear Lasse,
Thanks for your feedback. I'll put a bookmark on SuSanA SFDs Toolbox webpage.
Have you got any idea by any chance about when the Toolbox is planned to be populated?
Cheers,
Gian M.

Dear Daniel,
Thanks for the advice. I'd love to be in Stockholm for the World Water Week but unfortunately I can't. For sure I'll look up the website after the W.W. Week to see if any of the proceedings get published.
Thanks,
Gian M.

Dear Gian,
the mentioned documents are still under development and are not yet published. They will be uploaded here once they are.
You can find an interesting publication from WSP here though and some draft SFD-reports here .

You need to login to replySFDs (shit flow diagrams): looking for comprehensive guideline on the methodology to achieve those diagrams
Dear all,
I'm considering with my organisation to use SFDs as an assessment, planning and advocacy tool in densely populated urban environments and informal developments in Lebanon.
I'm familiar with what SFDs look like as outputs, but I've not been able to find any comprehensive guideline on the methodology to achieve those diagrams.
Can anybody suggest any resources?
Thanks in advance,
