Funded PhD Opportunity on Sanitation Work, Lancaster University, UK (Deadline: 20 May 2022)

Dear colleagues,

Are you interested in sanitation and labour rights? We are pleased to announce a fully funded PhD opportunity at Lancaster University, UK focusing on sanitation work, open to UK and overseas candidates. Full details here:  https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/lec/graduate-school/phd/phd-opportunities/#hazardous-sanitation-labour-historical-legacies-and-shifting-realities-371066-14

Note the deadline of 20 May 2022, start date of October 2022, and that this is a competitive process, both internally (between advertised PhD projects), and between potential candidates. We particularly encourage applicants from countries where manual handling of human waste persists, and from those with a social science/humanities or WASH background.

Please share across your networks!

Many thanks,

Sally Cawood
