Two PhD scholarships available at the University of Sydney (Australia) for research in Fiji (Pacific Islands)

Dear potential candidate,

The University of Sydney has two funded PhD scholarships open. The successful PhD candidates will be working with a team of researchers on an Australian Government funded project titled: Watershed Interventions for Systems Health in Fiji – preventing Typhoid, Dengue and Leptospirosis.

The PhD scholarships available are for two topics:
1) An evaluation of community on-site sanitation and implementation of appropriate sanitation technologies for rural communities in Fiji, Pacific Islands.
and
2) Understanding the relationship between water, sanitation and hygiene practices within watersheds and the outbreaks of Typhoid Fever and Leptospirosis in Fiji, Pacific Islands
