Re: Sanitation Monitoring Toolkit available online
Thanks Ann.
Can you describe a little more about what the toolkit is attempting to do?
What is it going to reveal and try to correct or improve?
What steps forward have been taken through this activity by Unicef to improve on the JMP?
How will it monitor the SDGs? Is there anyone within Unicef endorsing this work? Who are the collaborators?
Best wishes

Sanitation Monitoring Toolkit available online
Dear Colleagues in Sanitation
Pleased to share with you the Sanitation Monitoring Toolkit, an online tool, developed by UNICEF with support from the Gates Foundation, to support enhanced sector monitoring, planning and performance.
The site can be found at: www.sanitationmonitoringtoolkit.com. The Toolkit contains information relating to monitoring the enabling environment, comparison of sector analytic tools (GLAAS, WASHBAT, CSO, etc.), information on monitoring ODF, disposal of children’s feces and sanitation marketing. Attached is the transcript of the website as a reference should you have need for a hardcopy. The site will be considered a beta version for one year to assess functionality, accessibility and content. During this period please do visit the site and if you have any comments or suggestions they will be very welcome so this can be updated in a future iteration.
Kind regards,
Ann
