In case you missed hearing about the winners of this prestigious award (like I did), they are mentioned here:

++++++++
On Monday October 30th, during the Opening Ceremony of the Amsterdam International Water Week, the Deputy of the Mayor of Amsterdam, Alderman Udo Kock, publicly honoured the winners. The Jury decided to award Dr Sasha Kramer who founded SOIL in 2006 for the Lifetime Achievement Award for her exemplary work to provide sustainable sanitation services in Haiti, with an approach they considered to be replicable in many other situations, especially in fast growing peri-urban areas.
For the Sarphati Sanitation Award for Young Entrepreneurs, three promising initiatives were selected. During the AIWW Opening Ceremony, the winner of the Award for Young Entrepreneurs was announced. Mr Ahijit Banerji of FINISH Society was selected out of three promising initiatives and won the Young Entrepreneurs Award.
The other nominees for the Young Entrepreneurs Award were:
- Sidian Bank Kenya, Ms Catherine Kisamwa
- Sanivation Kenya, Mr Andrew Foote
The Sarphati Sanitation Awards Jury 2017 consisted of Her Excellency Ms Lidi Remmelzwaal (Chairperson), Dr Arno Rosemarin, Dr Claire Furlong, Prof Dr Ir Sybe Schaap and Dr Graham Alabaster. They decided on the Sarphati Sanitation Award winner for Lifetime Achievement and on the three nominees for the Sarphati Sanitation Award for Young Entrepreneurs.
+++++++
Previous winners can be found here: aquaforall.org/get-involved/nominate-som...i-sanitation-awards/
Hester: if the winners from this year had a presentation or video done about their work, could you share the links here in this thread? Thanks.
