Re: World Toilet Day ''Toilets for peace'' 19th November 2024

On World Toilet Day, VaLoo, the Umbrella Organisation for Circular Sanitation in Switzerland became an official Blue Community another important network.

World Toilet Day ''Toilets for peace'' 19th November 2024

The official theme for World Toilet Day 2024 is “Toilets for Peace.”  Sanitation practitioners and partners across the globe are hosting various awareness campaigns and activities  to promote sanitation as a human right.

Here is an exciting commemoration I thought was really fun:

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Seattle, USA): The Discovery Centre is hosting engaging activities like toilet paper races, water bar challenges, and exhibits on innovative sanitation technologies. This includes the exhibition “A Better Way to Go: Toilets and the Future of Sanitation” showcasing cutting-edge toilet designs and art installations Event Link

Do share with us here on SuSanA  activities you have championed/ plan to champion today.
What does this year's theme ''Toilets for Peace'' represents to you and your context?

Kind Regards,
Chaiwe
