Call for Abstracts - 2014 Water and Health Conference

The 2014 Water and Health Conference: Where Science Meets Policy is now accepting abstracts for poster and verbal presentations. Abstracts may be submitted online until April 30. This year's conference will take place October 13 -17 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA.

We are also accepting proposals for side events, such as meetings, workshops, networking sessions, training courses or open forums, for the conference. Side events are an opportunity for individuals or groups to bring together a range of stakeholders to focus on a specific area of interest. To submit a proposal, complete the online form by April 30.

Abstracts and proposals should relate to this year’s themes, which are:
• WaSH in Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals
• Hygiene and Behavior Change
• WaSH Emergency Response
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Impact and Efficiencies for Projects and Programs
• Water Supply and Quality: From Catchment to Consumer and Back
• Sanitation: How Are We Doing on Defining the Future?
• Addressing Disparities in WaSH: Rural, Peri-urban and Indigenous Populations

The early bird registration fee (available until August 29) is $395. After August 29, the rate will become $475. The student rate for the conference is $245. Single day registration will be available at $125 for students and $250 for other registrants.
