Dear WASH Warrior,

As Member of WASH Major Gifts Initiative Committee of The Rotary Foundation it is my pleasure to share with you that a virtual meeting titled “Rotary Changing Lives through WASH” on the Importance and scope of WASH initiative is being organized on 22^nd March 2022 to commemorate World Water Day from 6.00PM to 7.30PM IST. The event will help in creating awareness about the importance of WASH and the various WASH activities being undertaken by Rotary clubs across the globe with focus on India, motivating Rotarians to contribute to TRF for WASH activities, and forging new partnerships with corporates for CSR funding and NGOs for the joint implementation of WASH related projects.

The event will be attended by more than 500 delegates including Senior Rotary Leaders, corporate entities, distinguished donors and grassroot non-profit organizations engaged in WASH.

Dr Kiran Bedi, Former Lt Governor, Puducherry who is also the Founder of India Vision
Foundation and Navjyoti India Foundation and Mr. G. Asok Kumar IAS Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt of India have consented to be the keynote speakers. John F. Germ, Trustee Chair of The Rotary Foundation and Dr Mahesh Kotbagi, RI Director shall also grace the occasion. There will be other speakers from the corporate world, NGOs and many other organizations engaged in WASH.
