The 19th International Congress of the African Water Association (AFWA) will take place in Bamako, Mali from the 11th to the 16th of February 2018.

Theme for this year is "Accelerating access to sanitation and water for all in Africa facing climate change"
The 18th International Congress of the African Water Association took place in Nairobi Kenya last year on the 22nd to the 25th February 2016. Below you can see my post about the last AFWA.
