Rural Water Supply Network together with the co-leads of the Leave No One Behind theme are hosting a webinar, 'Incontinence: an urgent hidden issue for rural water supply' on 4th June at 9am CEST/8am BST. This webinar will aim to raise awareness of incontinence and why it matters for rural water supply. We are thrilled about the superb line-up of speakers, who will talk about incontinence in different contexts:
There will be many opportunities for discussion and interaction. We look forward to having you there!
- Allison Coleman, World Vision Vanuatu, will discuss a study in Vanuatu that identified the prevalence of incontinence and the challenges faced
- Shahpara Nawaz, iddcr Bangladesh, will look at the challenges faced by people living with incontinence in the face of climate hazards in Bangladesh
- Dani Barrington, University of Western Australia, and Amita Bhakta, Freelance consultant and visiting scholar at University College London and RWSN LNOB Co-lead, will together present findings from their respective studies on experiences of incontinence and self-wetting among children and older people in different humanitarian settings including Ethiopia, Malawi, and Bangladesh
- Tiina Vaittinen, padproject.online project and Tampere University, will be the discussant.
