COVID-19 has disproportionately affected women as several studies have documented how women have been hard hit by the pandemic-induced economic slowdown, especially with respect to water, sanitation and hygiene. At the same time, however, women have shown great strength and leadership in managing the uncertainties and challenges unleashed by this crisis.
 
To celebrate the 2021 World Water Day, and the International Women’s Day theme - #ChooseToChallenge - we are bringing you voices of women from around India who have overcome the hurdles posed by the pandemic in the field of WASH. Please tune in on 22^ndMarch, 2021, from 3 PM onwards, to hear their stories. The session will be moderated by Arpita Chatterjee, Water For People, and Ruchika Shiva, IRC.
