📣 Training Announcement!

Join us for the CSE-WHO Training of Trainers on Climate-Resilient Sanitation Safety Planning, taking place from February 6-9, 2024, at the esteemed Anil Agarwal Environment Training Institute (AAETI) in Nimli, Rajasthan. 🌿

In this comprehensive four-day training, organized by Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), you will delve into the second edition of the sanitation safety planning tool launched by WHO in 2022 which aligns with WHO's 2018 guidelines on sanitation and health at the local authority level, emphasizing the integration of public health and infrastructure planning.
This training will provide a deep understanding of the Sanitation Safety Planning (SSP) process and its significance for all stakeholders in various contexts. You'll learn about risk assessment and management according to WHO guidelines, covering all steps of the sanitation chain, with or without safe end use. Our experienced instructor, Leonellha Barreto Dillon, a renowned SSP trainer and WHO consultant, will guide you through the step-by-step guidance for preparing SSP.

The training methodology emphasizes experiential learning, employing interactive practical work, group exercises, expert interactions, and discussions. You'll also have the opportunity to embark on a field visit to enhance your practical knowledge of the SSP tool.

We invite all the National and state-level training entities, public health personnel, consultants, researchers, academia, key stakeholders working in the WASH sector and the alumni of sanitation safety planning v 1.0 training .

Limited full and partial fellowships are available to support your participation.
