WASH Training Courses 2023 (Berlin, Germany - in German)

Dear WASH community,

we are happy to announce new dates for our training courses in 2023.

The trainings will be taking place in Berlin (Germany). Please be aware that all trainings will be held in German.

The German Toilet Organization offers three different two-day seminars on the following topics:

Basic Seminar: Sustainbale Sanitation in Development Cooperation, 2nd - 3rd of June 2023 in Berlin, Germany
The Seminar gives an overview of the challenges and potentials of sustainablesanitation in urban areas in the context of development cooperation and
provides a well-balanced composition of practical group exercises and theory.
The participants will be introduced into actual methods and approaches.

Seminar: The Systems Approach to Sustainable WASH Interventions, 21st - 22nd of July 2023 in Berlin, Germany
The seminar will enable participants to design and implement WASH interventions that consider and strengthen existing structures and
systems as part of the solution. Participants will learn the basics of
the systems approach and gain an overview of key global actors and their
systems-relevant methods in WASH interventions. System-relevant
assessment methods will be applied and tested in exercises.

Basic Seminar: Hygiene Promotion in Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance, 1st - 2nd of September 2023 inBerlin, Germany
This seminar is designed to provide an introduction into the various aspects ofhygiene measures and the challenges of the aimed behaviour changes in the
sector of hygiene. Besides the implementation and the understanding the
different factors in influence of the desired hygiene behaviour, various
hygiene approaches and measures will be introduced through examples.
