Training Programme on Sanitation Safety Planning in collaboration with WHO, October 09-12, 2018

Greetings from CSE !

We are pleased to announce that the School of Water and Waste, CSE, is organising a training programme with part/full fellowships on Sanitation Safety Planning (SSP) in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO) from October 09-12, 2018 at AAETI, Nimli, Rajasthan.

Sanitation measures across most developing countries tend to incline towards the provision of services and infrastructure for achieving citywide water and sanitation management. Although public health is a key outcome for most national policies and initiatives, approaches specifically streamlined to address this critical component of sanitation are often left out at city level.

Understanding this gap, the School is organising a short-term residential training programme on SSP at its state-of-art campus in Nimli, Rajasthan. The training envisages to establish a pool of national and international sanitation players who will have in-depth understanding of SSP key concepts and principles.
