Do you have a great business idea in the sanitation or water management sector and want to become an entrepreneur? Then we are looking for YOU!

Until June 15th 2016, cewas is still accepting applications for its annual start-up programme starting in August 2016.

Cewas, the international centre for water management services, based in Willisau, Switzerland, starts the sixth cewas start-up programme that provides you with the skills, knowledge and networks you need to transform your idea into a working start-up.

In the year long course, cewas offers you:
  • Training modules on sustainable sanitation, water and resource management as well as on business development
  • Creation of a business model and business plan according to the “Lean Start-Up” Method
  • One-to-one coaching by international experts
  • Access to the gatekeepers, financiers and the large cewas community
  • Participstion in the World Water Week 2016 in Stockholm

Create your own job in water and sanitation
Many things need to be done in the sustainable development of water, sanitation and resource management. Many people are willing to contribute to this development, but there are there are only few job openings. No problem, there are other possibilities: Create your own job in water and sanitation. We support you in many ways.

Start-up Competition
Do you have an innovative idea that addresses the specific needs of low-income people in devel- oping and emerging countries regarding sanitation, water and resource management? Submit your idea by 15th May 2016 and take your chance to win the cewas Call for Ideas endowed with 5’000 CHF and secure a sponsored place in the cewas start- up programme 2016/17. Support in the start phase
The cewas start-up programme is a professional summer school for those planning their own or- ganisation or business in sanitation, water and resource management. From launching a project idea to developing a proper start-up, cewas offers you the knowledge, support and connections you need to make your idea a success. You will be part of our start-up community and get the opportunity to talk to people who were until recently in the same situation as you are today.

If your business idea doesn‘t match the focus of this years start-up competition: Never mind. The start-up program is open to any person with an idea, strong motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit to make it happen. Get in contact with us.

On 10th August 2016 cewas, the international centre for water management services, based in Willisau, Switzerland, starts the sixth cewas start-up programme, will be held in a shorter, intensive and concise form, that provides you with the skills, knowledge and networks you need to transform your idea into a working start-up.
In 2016 cewas offers you:
  • Six-weeks of training modules on sustainable sanitation, water and resource management as well as on business development
  • One-to-one coaching by international experts
  • Access to the Stockholm Water Week and the wide cewas community
