Proposed activity for SuSanA WG5 during the AfWA Congress in Kampala, Uganda (22nd-28th February 2020)

Dear Members of WG5 (and others interested in the group topic),

As you may already be aware, the 29th SuSanA meeting( www.susana.org/en/news-and-events/sanita...ebruary-2020-kampala ) will be held in conjunction with the AfWA Congress ( www.afwa2020.org/index.php/en/ ) in Kampala, Uganda. The SuSanA meeting will be on 22nd February while other AfWA Congress events will occur from 23rd to 28th February 2020.

We would like to know if some of you are planning to attend the AfWA congress in person or to participate in some way. We would like to organize some sort of learning event connected to the WG5 topic with a focus on business models and tools that can enable the implementation of resource recovery from sanitation. We may likely have participation from the International Water Management Institute with their business model cases ( www.iwmi.cgiar.org/publications/other-pu...recovery-from-waste/ ) (TBC) and we would like to know if there are others among you who would like to share or make presentations in case you have content related to e.g. business models and other tools that can enable the implementaiton of resource recovery initiatives. Also let us know in case you don't have content to share in the event but you think it is interesting and you would like to participate in some way.

We look for ward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Daniel
