Dear Elisabeth,
Thanks for your reply! I understand. So what kind of detailed information are you looking for?
You can find the project report attached for your reference.
A report on SWFF field evaluation study on farmers experience of co-compost has recently published too. You can find the report here: drive.google.com/file/d/1EtHfFjUs_n9ttN0o53n8e-YaFx__QLEi/view.
Hope these reports would be helpful. My email is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. in case if you'd like to discuss further!

Re: Securing Water for Food - Circular economy in sanitation and solid waste management for agriculture in Tamil Nadu, India
Dear Priska,
Thanks for your forum post. Where can we find out more details about this: "faecal sludge and solid waste management with co-composting to be used as soil improvers by vegetable farmers in the horticulture district of the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India."
I clicked at all the links and brochures about this project that I could find but only found high-level information, nothing detailed. Do you have any detailed information to share?
I ask because the co-composting question has come up a few times, see e.g. here:

Securing Water for Food - Circular economy in sanitation and solid waste management for agriculture in Tamil Nadu, India
Dear all,
My name is Priska Prasetya from WASTE (www.waste.nl), an organisation specialised in business development and financing of the sanitation and solid waste management sectors. My role is mainly in the business development of circular economy of sanitation (www.linkedin.com/in/priskaprasetya/).
I am writing to share with you one of the projects that we are currently undertaking in the Nilgiris under the Securing Water for Food (SWFF) programme by USAID, SIDA, DGIS and the Government of South Africa. The project focuses on innovations that promote production of more food with less water. The innovations we introduce under this project are faecal sludge and solid waste management with co-composting to be used as soil improvers and greywater recycling to be used as irrigation by vegetable farmers in the horticulture district of the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India.
For more information about the project, please see this link www.susana.org/en/knowledge-hub/projects/database/details/614 and attached brochure for your reference.
