On 10 June 2013 Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, announced Prince Hassan of Jordan as the new Chair of the SG's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB). Prince Hassan of Jordan takes over this position from the former Prince of Orange, now King of the Netherlands, who had been Chair of UNSGAB from 2006 to 30 April 2013.
