Dear all,
We kindly invite you to the upcoming seminar at Stockholm World Water Week 2014 “Streamlining Strategies for Humanitarian Aid in the WASH Sector” on Wednesday Sept. 4 from 09:00 to 12:30 (Room K11).
The seminar is organised by the German Federal Foreign Office and the German WASH Network together with UNICEF, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, the Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) Partnership and the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA). During the seminar current challenges in humanitarian WASH response will be presented from different perspectives and analysed with regard to their policy implications. Together with the seminar participants the strength and weaknesses of existing humanitarian aid strategies and coordination mechanisms will be boiled down to specific recommendations feeding into on-going national WASH strategy development processes (e.g. Germany). You will find the detailed program and a corresponding flyer attached. Further relevant seminar information can be found here: programme.worldwaterweek.org/event/strea...-strategies-for-3384
