Re: Sanitation Matters - Issue 6

Dear Dr. Sudhir
Interesting Magazine. The idea of entrenchment looks the cheapest in the short run for towns which still have some agricultural lands in neighborhood. But i doubt whether it can be accepted by some authorities. would be much interested in the effect of the buried sludge in a given area in terms of pollution, the magnitude of the problem especially on groundwater.

Re: Sanitation Matters - Issue 6

I was actually surprised to see that many articles are in fact from Uganda/East Africa. Definitely an interesting read which I will share with others here in Uganda.

Re: Sanitation Matters - Issue 6

Dear Mr Mughal

Thanks for the input and advice. We call it a magazine because it is made as a popular article for both professionals and non-professionals. And it is more to be informative. And if people want more especially on technical aspects, they can read the research reports or contact the researchers.

Hope that helps. Kind Regards

Re: Sanitation Matters - Issue 6

A very interesting and informative document. Why it is called as a magazine?

I suggest that in future issues, there may be a spotlight on the sanitation champions of South Africa.
