Eric Pfanner writes about a reporting system called mSchool developed by Manobi, a mobile technology company in Dakar, Senegal. mSchool offers teachers, students and parents the possibility to report problems with sanitation facilities at more than 2,000 schools in the country. This novel approach and innovative system is one of the winners of Sanitation Hackathon organized by the World Bank.
