World Toilet Day Handover!
Sobantu Secondary School in Pietermaritzburg
in partnership with PID, PRG & WRC.
 
World Toilet Day raises awareness of the 4.2 billion people livingwithout access to safely managed sanitation. It is about taking action to
tackle the global sanitation crisis and achieve  SustainableDevelopment Goal 6: water and sanitation  for all by 2030. This yearthe theme remarks the importance of " Sustainablesanitation and climate change ".

Everyone must have sustainable sanitation, alongside clean water and hand
washing facilities, to help protect and maintain our health security and stop
the spread of deadly infectious diseases such as COVID-19, cholera, and
typhoid.Toilets can help us to fight climate change too! Waste water and sludge
from toilets contain valuable water, nutrients, and energy. Sustainable
sanitation systems make productive use of waste to safely boost agriculture and
reduce and capture emissions for greener energy.


 
We would like to cordiallyinvite you to attend our  
World Toilet Day 2020 initiative at Sobantu Secondary School.
We will be handing over 3 Eazisplit Pedestals, retrofitted into the school
toilet block 
in partnership with PID,PRG & WRC.
  Date:19th November2020
Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm  
Place: Sobantu Secondary School  (546 Sikhosana St,Sobantu, Pietermaritzburg, 3210).
