Webinar on WASTE TO WORTH-Mainstreaming Reuse of Treated Used Water in Indian Cities

Dear All,

As cities in India grapple with growing challenges of ensuring access to safe and clean water, reusing treated used water is emerging as a sustainable, resource-efficient solution. Mainstreaming this practice at the city level is essential to ensure long-term urban water resilience

CSE has undertaken extensive work in this domain, encompassing research, capacity building, and on-ground support. Our recent publications include "Waste to Worth" "Planning for Reuse of Treated Water at the State Level" and a "City Level Template for the Reuse of Treated Water" developed in collaboration with NMCG, supporting the Namami Gange Mission's pollution abatement efforts where reuse is a critical component.

Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), invites you to its webinar on “Mainstreaming Reuse of Treated Used Water in Cities”. The webinar will build on CSE’s extensive work in this field in research, capacity building and on-ground support across national, state, and city levels. This webinar aims to present CSE's initiatives, feature expert insights on policy, planning, implementation and financing, and stimulate discussions around successful models in treated water reuse. The webinar will foster a deeper understanding of sectoral developments and specific approaches to city-level action plans.
