Interest in WASH in HCF Research & Evidence? (Session outcome from UNC Water & Health Conference, October 7-11)

This might be interesting for SuSanA Working Group 7 (Sustainable WASH in Institutions and Gender Equality) members. Copied from the WHO and UNICEF WASH in health care facilities - October Updates.

UNC and Emory University hosted a session to discuss the state of evidence on WASH in HCF and see what research has taken place since an earlier research meeting in 2016 . Suggested research topics for the future include costing, sustainability, implementation science and best practices. Ideas generated from this session will be used to form a “working” research agenda, which will be shared for further feedback by the end of 2019.

If you would like to be part of a working group on WASH in HCF research and have not already indicated your interest, please contact Lindsay Denny at ldenny@emory.edu

Best regards,
Franziska
