That's a good question, I hope we can get a few example surveys of UDDTs collected here.

I remembered this report by Doreen Mbalo in Kenya (although it does not give the list of questions used):

UDDTs from the same project (i.e. the former EU Ecosan Promotion Project in Kenya) were evaluated earlier in detail by Laura Kraft (now with Sanergy), she focussed on the quality of the dried and stored materials (urine and faeces):

Hi,

in our water and sanitation project in Moldova, we have set up a small scheme for subsidizing and providing technical support to households in villages for constructing a household UDDT, with about 50 units installed. Before moving on and doing the same on a larger scale, we would like to assess the installed toilets. The idea is to visit all toilets and to check a set of predefined criteria or indicators on user satisfaction, state of maintenance, use/disposal of urine and dried faeces, etc.

Before developing the checklist/questionnaire for the assessment, I'd like to see if perhaps anyone here has done something similar and has examples of checklists, questionnaires, criteria for the assessment or monitoring of UDDTs or similar that we could use as inspiration.
