Understanding the impact of the El Niño phenomenon in the Latin American region and knowing the mitigation and adaptation measures that we can apply is important to face these events with greater resilience.
 
The key points of this seminar are:
 
1. The main causes and factors contributing to the development of the El Niño phenomenon and how they evolved over time.
2. What is the impact of the El Niño phenomenon in different geographic regions and sectors such as agriculture, economy, health, environment.
