Re: MHM Education Guide now available for everyone!
Dear inajurga,
I find this content to be very helpful. I am a male and I have keen interest in MHM & SRHR, having read and gone through the website I came across one interesting phrase the 3 E’s, very intresting. But my question is how far have you gone with promoting and involving boys in this topic to make them influential ?

Dear Paresh,
let me answer your points - albeit a bit late.
(1) we make the MHM Education Guide access only available through our website, including the preview version, because we want to know about the organisations and individuals who showed interest in it. For the preview version, we would like to follow up with everyone directly, which isn't possible if it is available everywhere. And for the free standard version, we would like to know how the Guide is used, which impact it had and learn from partners, as well as offer free capacity building webinars, - all in return to make the Guide accessible for free.
(2) we have not developed a Guide for boys - although we fully agree that boys shall know about puberty changes, menstruation and how to support girls, sisters, friends! Same with peers, and care-takers in the family. (A couple of studies, such as this one , underscores it).
We ourselves use a user-centred design process for the development of our materials and feel this is absolutely necessary for developing materials for and with boys. But we have not done it so far, as we concentrated first on making the Guide available for our partners.
However, I am proud to say that our partner Splash has developed materials for boys, teachers and care-takers as eco-system to the MHM Education Guide for Ethiopia and India. If you look for materials, Grow & Know has materials for boys and there are some national materials from Ghana, too.

Re: MHM Education Guide now available for everyone!
Thank you Ina for sharing this excellent resource.
Wondering why is it not simply downloadable from the website? Is the reason related to how your organisation's business model/ funding
It would be great if you could make available the free preview version easily downloadable here and your website.
The text on the website indicates the guide is for girls. Curious if a similar guide is available for awareness generation amongst boys of similar age?
Regards
paresh

Any organisation or individual can now help to scale education about menstruation with this low-cost education guide for Africa and India!
WASH United has applied the philosophy of open access and collective impact that is behind Menstrual
Hygiene Day to the field of MHM education.
The result: a website through which any organisation or individual can access the MHM Education Guide, a ground-breaking new solution for MHM education, free of charge. Check it out!
