WHO/UNICEF Seek Public Feedback on 15 Proposed Gender Indicators for SDG WASH Targets by 10 September 2023

Dear friends, a proposed list of 15 indicators for national and global monitoring of gender in water, sanitation, and hygiene specific to SDG targets 6.1 and 6.2 has been posted on the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (JMP) gender page and public comments on the indicators are being accepted through 10 September 2023. The JMP seeks feedback from a wide range of WASH stakeholders across sectors and geographies, so please share with colleagues, particularly those engaged in national monitoring related to gender, water, sanitation, and/or hygiene. All comments will be considered before recommendations to the JMP are finalized. Please see the links below, including thecomprehensive document that includes the proposed indicators, describes the indicator identification process, and notes potential measures and data sources for the indicators. Thank you! Links:JMP Gender page:  washdata.org/monitoring/inequalities/gender Link to provide comments:  www.surveymonkey.com/r/6WMJKPM Draft document for public review:  washdata.org/sites/default/files/2023-08...-wash-indicators.pdf
