A big shout-out to the three winners of the Maha Urban INNO-WASH Challenge
- Bhiwapur Nagar Panchayat
- Carpe Ecosattva, Aurangabad with Alibag Municipal Council, and
- Ecosan Services Foundation, Pune with Sangli Miraj Kupwad City Municipal Corporation
Excited to kickstart the implementation process.

The Secretariat would like to extend its gratitude to the Government of Maharashtra for their support, the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and all the organizations for their interest and amazing response to the INNO-WASH challenge. The Secretariat, 'Maha-UWES Coalition' at the Regional Centre for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES) of All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG), Mumbai is excited to launch Maha Urban INNO-WASH Challenge (Urban Water, Environmental Sanitation and Hygiene INNOVATION CHALLENGE for Infection Prevention and Control) in partnership with UNICEF India (Maharashtra). It aims to support the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) & Development Organisations in implementing innovative projects in urban WASH & Environmental Sanitation in Maharashtra. Two selected projects shall be supported for implementation through Maha-UWES-Coalition.
