Established on 4th November 1990, Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO) is a service oriented, scientific, national non- governmental organization based in Nepal that is contributing to sustainable community development by combining research, action and support in the areas of environment and public health. ENPHO develops and promotes eco-friendly technologies such as water treatment options, Rain Water Harvesting, ECOSAN toilets and waste water treatment through reed bed systems. ENPHO promotes integrated community based approaches for safe water, sustainable sanitation, solid waste management, hygiene behavior, improving indoor air, and environmental and air quality monitoring for creating healthy and environmental friendly societies. Knowledge-based education, trainings and advocacy campaigns are provided that help achieving ENPHO’s mission.

On the occasion of World Water Day 2017, we are planning to publish "ENPHO Magazine". Following are the key objectives of the ENPHO magazine:

• To document and disseminate research results, and lessons learned in the sector of WASH, environment and public health
• To disseminate information on innovations, approaches and technologies
• To improve knowledge management and disseminate information on WASH, environment and public health

National/International Target Audiences:

• Program implementers
• Policy/Decision makers
• Researchers
• Academicians

In align with the main theme of International World Water Day 2017 i.e. "Wastewater", following key themes for papers for ENPHO Magazine 2017 have been identified:

• Wastewater Management
• Faecal Sludge Management
• Solid and Medical Waste Management

We are expecting the research articles, strong case studies including lessons learnt that can be useful for the sector. We don't want to include mere project descriptions, activities and news. We have announced "Call for the Paper" in our website enpho.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Cal...r-ENPHO-Magazine.pdf I have attached the call for the paper including the guidelines for the submission herewith this email for your kind convenience. Even though the deadline for the submission of the abstracts was 7 Feb. 2017, we are extending the deadline till 13 Feb. 2017. Therefore, we welcome the submission from you and/or someone from your organizations on the relevant themes. We'd like to kindly request you all to circulate this announcement within your network as well.
