Happy new year from the WinS Network!

As 2021 has drawn to a close, we are delighted to look back and share with you the different activities that the WinS Network has initiated and/or supported in the previous year:

• Launch of the  WinS Network website , which serves a knowledge hub for key global resources and publications on WinS;
• Co-organizer of the  Stocktaking webinar on safe school reopening and school readiness assessment ;
• Headline sponsor, through the GIZ Regional Fit for School Programme, of the  2021 UNC Water and Health Conference ;
• Organizer of the UNC lunch session on the topic  “Updates and lessons learned on WASH in Schools and safe school reopening during COVID-19” ;
• Presenter during the  Open Exchange: Safe Reopening of Schools in Africa ; and
• Presenter and session moderator during the  Virtual 8th WASH in Schools International Learning Exchange

This had been our way of promoting exchange of experiences between countries and practitioners, working towards our vision where all schools have access to basic drinking water, basic sanitation, and basic hygiene services as defined in the Sustainable Development Goals, and additional services that consider the local context and needs of all students.
