Dr. Balan is a Governance and Institutional expert with more than three decades of working experience in WASH, waste management and developmental sector (25 years in South Asia and 15 years in Middle East and North Africa Region). He was with the International Civil Service Commission and held several senior positions with UNDP, UNICEF, World Bank, ADB etc and worked as consultant with several bilateral agencies.
In 2008 he was assigned to work as the Sector Strategy and Coordination Advisor in Sudan for UNICEF and UNDP. He was Team leader and member of several planning, evaluation and capacity assessment missions at national and international level supported by United Nations, ADB, and Bilateral agencies.
He was also the Program Director of International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM), Bhopal (from 2012 to 2016) and former Vice President of National Solid Waste Association of India (NSWAI). He is the President of Global Society for Health Promotion and Education.

I've filled in your survey now. What is the deadline? You might want to try to promote it a bit more (by posting in this thread) if you're still looking for more responses. I find that Twitter could also be a good tool to advertise it (you'd have to get people or organisations with many followers to tweet about it).

Our survey does have a lot of questions, but none of them are required. We are happy to hear people's answers to whatever questions they feel like answering!
Our group is made of two public relations focused undergraduate communications majors (Adia and Elaine), and one graduate student studying scientific and technical communication (Elizabeth). We are taking a public relations campaign class this semester, and are working to inform the Global WaSH research cluster at our university how they can best communicate with potential funders, other researchers, other research groups, industry, and potential students. So the purpose of this survey is to try to get some of that information from people actively involved in WaSH, so we can analyze it and tell our cluster how the best ways to reach those audiences I just listed. The findings will be used in our final audience analysis and recommendation report to the cluster.
I think by 'unit of analysis' you are asking at what organizational level we are asking for communication feedback- if that's wrong, please correct me. We have worded the questions to say 'group/organization' both because we are interested in responses at that level, and because our understanding is that most WaSH practitioners are part of some sort of organization, be it a research group, university, government office, or something else. We would also welcome responses from people who are individual practitioners, as that is another audience our university's research cluster would like to talk to.
Thank you for letting us know that leaders often communicate through their personal handles/accounts. That is the sort of information that is very helpful to us. We wrote the survey under the impression that most organizations would have some sort of account (emailing list for newsletters, social media, etc) specific to the organization. We also want to know where WaSH practitioners get their information from, and what makes different people and groups different. So even if whoever is answering the survey is not in charge of communications, they might be able to say what makes their work unique, or where they get updates from.

I am also curious to know what is the unit of your analysis. The questionnaire indicates that it is a group/organisation.
However, communication efforts are often led by the individual who leads the organisation and their take on how to communicate and media appropriate to reach their audience will directly affect how the organisation communicates. Further, in many organisations, the leaders also directly communicate through their personal personal handles/accounts. I am wondering if this has been considered.
