Sewage – The Game-Changer

Sewage – The Game-Changer

Overflowing manholes, caused by sewer blockages, are common in Karachi, and in rest of the towns of the province of Sindh. In fact, the problem is so common that people are just living with.

Can sewage stop a game? Sounds like a weird question!!

In the final game of a spring training Freeway series between the Dodgers and the Angels, both of Los Angeles, a sewage emergency cropped up and stopped the game. Sewage flooded the third baseline at Dodger Stadium in the bottom of the fifth inning

The janitors tried attempted to sweep the liquid away and also attempted to prevent it from spreading further. But the stench and odour continued. After a 32-minute delay, the decision was made to halt the game altogether.
