He has passed M.A. examination from Calcutta University and completed a course in DHSM. He is always involved in Social welfare activities. He was awarded as best Social Worker in South 24 Parganas district from NYKS, Govt. of India.

Description of organization

  1. Shibganj Integrated Development Society (SIDS) is registered as a “society” under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961 and registered under the Foreign Contribution (regulation) Act-2010, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. It is also registered under various Govt. and Non-govt. departments. SIDS has been working for the development of the needy and disadvantaged people in the remote area of Sundarba ns under the district of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal. It is non-profit making, non-govt., non-political and secular voluntary organization. The organization was established on 01.04.2005. The organization has a properly constituted Executive body with its power and duties clearly defined in the constitution. It does not discriminate against any person or group of persons on the ground of sex, religion, caste or creed. The authorities of the organization follow the rules and regulations of the Govt., VO and Donor Partners. Our organization always tries to keep social media updated

It strives to provide opportunities for Community Health Development especially Reproductive Child Health and adolescent health,  Educational Development for coastal poor infants, Environment Protection and conservation of biological diversity, Sustainable Agricultural Development and  socio-economic development and Development for the Persons with Disabilities with particular emphasis on differentially vulnerable groups like women, children, the rural poor and the berated youths.
  3.  The organization has implemented various types ofprograms such as Sustainable Agriculture Development to ensure food security inthe rural area, various vocational and handicrafts training for rural youths and women to make them self-reliant, Development of Education of coastal poor infants, Nutritional Care for women and children as well as Reproductive Child Health and adolescent health, Various types of awareness programs on COVID-19 and Ration and Corona virus kits distribution among Corona virus affectedfamilies,  Environmental Protection and Conservation of Biological Diversity, Distribution of relief materials and ration among disaster affected persons since its  inception
