Dear Dan,
Interesting article. It seems they can only use PET for recycling. Normally, the value of PET is already quite good in the second hand market. I find the idea of these guys sympathetic, but I wonder if the model of selecting a few waste pickers and turning them into "improved waste pickers" is really that useful beyond a very small group. Having said that, I do quite like the idea of supporting business development around recycling. As improved markets for separated waste may lead to improving waste management.
