Image request for the validation of our helminth eggs image processing Software
In order to carry on with the validation of our software we require several helminth eggs images, so we appeal to this forum to request to the members who may have images that could be provided to us. These images must have specific characteristics needed for the validation of our software so we have developed a format listing them.
The species this system can identify and quantify are:
Nematode:
Ascaris lumbricoides fertile
Ascaris lumbricoides infertile
Toxocara canis
Trichuris trichiura
Hookworms
Anchylostoma duodenale-Necator americanus
Cestode
Taenia (solium, saginata)
Hymenolepis diminuta
Hymenolepis nana
Trematoda
Fluke (Fasciola hepatica, Fasciolopsis buski)
Schistosoma mansoni
This is with the objective of having a wide diversity of images from different locations that would allow a better, more complete validation.
Thank you.
