I am very much interested to beResearch assistant position available at the WASH R&D Centre, University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa)
I received his Post Baccalaureate certificate in Global Health Cohort (WASH) from Drexel University, USA and completed with the highest grade of the university (4) and research A+. He also received Masters of Science (MSC) in Project Planning and Management from Debre Markos University, Ethiopia, with the highest grade of the university (4), research excellent and gold medal, Master of Public Health (MPH) from University of Gondar, Ethiopia, and Completed with very great distinction and BSC in Public Health from Debub University, Ethiopia. Both of his research mainly focused on Sanitation challenges, ODF slippage and family health.

I have received different certificates from different academic institutions and universities:

1. Certificate of academic excellence in project planning and management from YOM Institute of Economic Development
2. Higher Diploma in Teachers Education from Debre Markos University
3. Certificate of Monitoring and Evaluation from philanthropy university
4. Certified with research software Stata and SPSS and others

I have joined World Vision since 2011 as IYCF/CMAM Integration Research coordinator. Since then he has worked in different positions like Sanitation and Hygiene Specialist (2021-2022), Sanitation and hygiene Coordinator (2018 to 2021), Regional Urban WASH coordinator (2014-2018), and Research Coordinator (2011-2014). He also worked as lecturer and research advisor in Debre Markos University (2010-2011), and Health Center manager in Government Health Institutions. Now since June 24, 2022 he has been promoted to WASH Knowledge management Manager from his previous position.

During this time Abiyou has found highly motivated, enthusiastic professionals with strong analytic, writing, research and problem solving skills. Successful in organizing and executing projects in an under resources environment. Dedicated and flexible quick learner who takes initiative and ensures quality project and program outcomes. Effective communicator and decision maker with a focus on commitment, vision and leadership.
