Searching for project-based WASH communications consultant with experience in Bangladesh

The Water.org Bangladesh team is looking for a communication consultant, who will plan and design written communication materials that resonate across the targeted audiences in a powerful and actionable way with the larger goal to help increase the uptake of
the WaterCredit model.

The communications products for Bangladesh Business Case Study would seek to accomplish the following objectives:
  1.  With the help of the Water.org team, extract and synthesize key information from the business case report as is pertinent to the two outlined audiences: FIs, and the Bangladesh government.
  2. Develop and design highly polished and professional content, keeping each audience’s main communication preferences in mind.
Consultants should have a strong background in communications targeted to WASH and Bangladesh government. Experience in the communicating to the financial sector will be an advantage.
 
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this project, the consultant must possess the following skills:
  • Strong background in communications targeted to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Bangladesh governments, experiences in financial sector and market based WASH program will be an advantage
  • Understands motivations of key audiences
  • Strong experience in developing and designing communication materials
  • Strong experience in translating technical material to more approachable language
  • Strong English writing skills

  1. Brief technical proposal outlining the proposed approach, maximum 4 pages
  2. Budget proposal for the entire communications development project, separating staff time and miscellaneous costs, including tax
  3. Tentative timeline, with key milestone dates identified, including check-in points after content development and before design phase to ensure that content is correct and accurate
  4. List of qualifications highlighting similar past work, including 3 examples of relevant work to relevant audiences
