Profile of the consultant:·     
·   Senior advisory role in water and sanitation expert with more than 15 years of experience.
·   Experience working with national and multinational agencies in the areas of water, wastewater and sanitation sectors.
·   Professional experience in monitoring and evaluation of water and sanitation tools applicable for small towns.
·   Professional experience in critical review and evaluation of training programme which includes classroom sessions and webinar courses.
 
Contract Duration: 45 days  
Start Date: 1st June  2020
End Date: 10th December 2020 

Scope of Assignment: The assignment is divided into three main tasks with specific deliverables and timeline.

1.   Script for short videos for water and sanitation for small towns (Duration - 15 days)
     1.1  Key Tasks:
          a.   Finalize five topics in consultation with partner towns and BORDA SA staff  
          b.   Prepare concept and script for the selected topic (not more than 5 mins) 
          c.   Give voice over for the film to explain the concept  
       1.2 Deliverables  
         a.  Time-sheet  
         b.  5 scripts  
         c.  Copy of the voice over  
 
2.   Technical inputs for Capacity Building Initiatives (webinar, seminars, trainings) of the project - 15 days duration
     2.1 Key Tasks:
        a.  Lead resource person for trainings/ events (3/4) of BORDA-SA for the topics water quality, sludge characteristic and wastewater.
        b.  Reviewing of training concept and selective modules (around 50 slides).  
        c.  Critical review of the trainings/ events.  
     2.2 Deliverables 
       a.   Time-sheet  
       b.  Short report on session taken for each training /event.
       c.  Critical review report for trainings/ events undergone.
 
3.      Evaluation of water and sanitation tools applicability in the context of small town  
        3.1 Key Tasks:
        a.  Assist in short-listing of 10 tools/ approaches.
        b.  Review and selection of minimum 5 of the above 10 tools/ approaches.    
        c.  Conduct field test of the selected tools/ approaches with support from BORDA-SA partners.
        3.2 Deliverables:  
        a.  Time-sheet.
        b.  Brief summary report of tasks performed.
        c.  Ppt based report on each of the tools with finalexpert opinion on its applicability in the context of project objective
 
Estimated duration of Contract:
The assignment is proposed to be divided into 45 days in total starting from 1^stJune 2020 to 10^th December 2020.

Payment Schedule:
The payment will be made at 3 levels based on submission of time sheet along with deliverables and report.
