We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer with experience in designing and implementing rigorous studies in low and middle-income country (LMIC) settings in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene. The post-holder will play a senior leadership role in the Environmental Health Group (EHG).

The successful candidate will be expected to pursue a vibrant, clearly defined research agenda consistent with the mission of the EHG. They will also be expected to secure funding for future research in this area and to serve as a key member of an ambitious and successful team. The post-holder may bring their own funding and students to the school.

The ideal candidates will have a Post-graduate degree in related field (Public Health, Epidemiology) and Doctoral research degree (WASH-related). They must have evidence of a clearly defined research agenda with an excellent publication track record. Experience of managing large budgets and appropriate levels of control and compliance will be required.

The post is funded for a period of one year in the first instance and is available from 1st September 2016. The post will be based in London and includes significant travel related to work (up to 16 weeks per year). Salary is on the Academic Pathway Grade 8 from £52,895 to £60,712 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting).
