Re: WaSH & climate change report from COP23
The link, in your post, leads to interesting information and documents. Can you post some successful "case studies" on building resilience and adaptation in WASH, due to climate change impacts, preferably in developing countries?
I must say that your office has done good work on WASH and climate change; and have a fairly good wealth of information. Kindly think of building more comprehensive documentation.

Thanks for your message and very sorry for the delay to answer.
The "introduction" given at the conference was very much based on our "WaSH services and climate change" working-document already shared on this forum, which gives more details on impacts of climate change on WaSH services.
In this report, we've tried to provide some general "lessons and ways forward" for improving resilience of services. For the moment, we believe that there are still too many lessons to be learned and research to be done to go further in terms of recommendations, but we carry on working on this topic and identifying current experiences.
I will definitely keep sharing our updates on this topic here and am still interested to receive comments on what we do.
Best wishes,
Colette

I have gone through the "introduction" presentation. The presentation, though very brief, is interesting. It highlights the problems, but does not give solutions.
I would suggest that your office develop a detailed report on the impacts of climate change on water supply and sanitation facilities, which among others, should give solutions.
Will your office be able to do that?

For those not familiar with the abbreviation COP23 (this includes myself), you can check here on Wikipedia:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_United_Nation...te_Change_Conference
The 2017 United Nations Climate Change Conference was an international meeting of political leaders and activists to discuss environmental issues. It was held at UN Campus in Bonn (Germany) from 6–17 November 2017.[1] The conference incorporated the twenty-third Conference of the Parties (COP23), the thirteenth meeting of the parties for the Kyoto Protocol (CMP13), and the second meeting of the parties for the Paris Agreement (CMA2).
The purpose of the conference was to discuss and implement plans about combating climate change, especially the Paris Agreement.[1]
