Re: Reply: RE: Biogas Sanitation Systems Designs

Dear Prof.Basandorj

I missed your earlier post of April.
A book on Technical options for solid and liquid waste management, published by the Ministry of Drinking water and sanitation, Government of India, in April 2015,describes in detail about household toilet linked biogas plant, including design of biogas plantin the last chapter of the book.I had written the manuscript of the book. It is available at the link:
mdws.gov.in/sites/upload_files/ddws/file...id_Waste_%28E%29.pdf
If you need any further help in this regard , kindly inform.
As suggested by Elisabeth I am attaching a power point presented in the World toilet summit, on biogas. It may help you.

Re: Reply: RE: Biogas Sanitation Systems Designs

Dear Fredrick
There are several information available on toilet linked biogas plants. I also implemented a few hundred such toilets.
If you require any specific information, you can post.

Re: RE: Biogas Sanitation Systems Designs

Dear Fredrick,

This is a recurring topic. See for example this discussion:

If you use the search function (right top of the screen), you will find more discussions on the topic. I would recommend reading those. If you have more specific questions after that, please feel free to ask.

This is also a good resource:

Biogas Sanitation Systems Designs (question from Malawi)

I am working on a project in which we would like to produce biogas and compost from school toilets (waterborne toilets) and food waste from the school kitchen in Malawi.
We would there like to learn lessons from those who have successfully implemented such toilets. Would also anyone provide me with suitable designs for the same so that we can compare with what we are developing.
Any assistance rendered will be greatly appreciated.
