Re: Methology BSF for Clean Development Mecanism
Hi Pierre,
Yes. There are not many developed methodologies in the sanitation sector under CDM. I have worked for 9 years in the CDM sector. Currently, working on wastewater treatment through green technologies and couple of Gold Standard project carbon credit projects. I would be happy to support you in developing a methodology or finding a better way to avail the carbon credits. You may drop an email to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. Dear Pierre,
I have very little knowledge in CDM but 10 years ago I enquired about the mechanism and attended a conference on the subject at the ADB in Manila. What I recall is that elligible projects had to be very large ( e.g. methane extraction on major landfills, solar plants etc).. So small organisations were struggling to enter the mechanisms and only large companies with government or World Bank / ADB funding were elligible.
But it was 10 years ago and things may have changed since then.
Best regards,

Re: Methology BSF for Clean Development Mecanism
Hi Pierre,
Have you found out any more about this in the meantime? In which way would BSF technology save on greenhouse emissions? Do you mean less energy needed for protein production maybe?
For those not familiar with CDM, see here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clean_Development_Mechanism
And here is the link to the webinar if anyone is wondering which webinar Pierre meant:
forum.susana.org/147-production-of-insec...h-january-2018#24005
If this question is still open, maybe we would need to e-mail some of the BSF experts from the webinar about this and see if they have any comments.
Regards,
Elisabeth

Methology BSF for Clean Development Mecanism
Hi everybody,
Do somebody know if any organization is about to submit a methodology for CDM with BSF ?
There is nothing on this site:
cdm.unfccc.int/methodologies/PAmethodologies/approved
My NGO CEFREPADE (www.cefrepade.org) is interested in this topic,
Thanks for the webinar yesterday,
Pierre Manchot
