Re: KVIP Ceramic Seated Toilet

Ah, you're working in India. Because there would be no other reason to buy this simple toilet there when they are available in different forms worldwide including in North America. You likely know that squat plates are more commonly used for direct drops.

Re: KVIP Ceramic Seated Toilet

But where do you need them?
There's no point in doing a demonstration project somewhere with toilets that cost $700 USD to ship to the site.
Are you making composting toilets or just pit latrines?

Re: KVIP Ceramic Seated Toilet

If you have links of where i can buy or the manufacturer that would be great. I'm sure there is a manufacturer in China but I haven't found a link with the cost. I know they are in the market in Ghana and you can buy for around $20.

Thanks!

Re: KVIP Ceramic Seated Toilet

I don't know who makes this one, but there are ceramic direct-drop toilets out there. There are also direct drops made of porcelain and plastic. You can mold them closer to points of use. You don't want to import ceramic ware if you can help it. So much breakage.
